PROCESS:

Once we know what you want, we will put together the acting reel. Once the demo reel is put together, you have the opportunity to go over it and we can make any adjustments you want. After all the adjustments are made, we color and sound correct the project, to getting it to looking and sounding its best. From there, we will format the project to DVD and or to any web conversions you want, so you can upload it to wherever, and then get you the DVD and any and all files for your record on another information DVD. After that, you will be another step closer to getting your career heading in the right direction with the best possible acting reel you could have.

FORMATS ACCEPTED:
We prefer DVD's, miniDV and digital files like, .mov and .wmv. We can also except content on VHS and VHS-C. Now, medium like BETA and many others can be accepted but we take it to get it transferred so an additional cost will be applied. Bottom line let us know what you have and we will see what we can do.

DETERMINE FINAL PRODUCT(S):
Determining what you need us to do for you couldn't be simpler. Basically, what do you want and we can do it. We have done acting reels consisting of a single great scene with intro and exits, to a 2 or 3 minute standard format demo reel, to extended 10 minute acting reels that can be uploaded and displayed on your website for all your true fans to watch. With our creative pricing we can do everything and anything you want.

MOTION GRAPHIC INTROS/ EXITS:
If you're looking to start your demo reel off with a little more punch then a basic white name slowly moving toward you we have dozens of professional motion graphic intros and exits then can be altered to make your acting reel unique. We simple add a headshot, or two, or a clip from one of your projects, change the text around to say and look exactly like you want and drop it into you project. All of this comes with no extra cost to you.

TEXT INSERTION:
Now, when it comes to text our powerful text based software allows us to basically do anything you want to the text. Why use plain old Arial white sitting there at a motionless size 12 when you can have a crisp Geneva sky blue scroll in left to right with a fade up starting at size 10 and ending at 18. Use the text to introduce your demo reel or to let the viewer know what project the scene they are watching is from. Let us create the exact acting reel that you want.

COLOR CORRECTION:
This is an easy step that benefits your project in a way that if it is done correctly you will never know it was done. But, basically your demo reel is a compilation of different projects edited by different people, of varying skill sets, on different computers with different software. When you put your favorite indy project scene, that wasn't mastered in a million dollar editing suite, next to your guest appearance on CSI, which was edited in a million dollar suite, it could be a very sharp contrast in color or, simply, the reds could be too bright. So, when that casting director finally puts your DVD on to watch, what if when that indy scene that really shows off your skills comes up, and that casting director is more distracted by the fact that you look red then the fact that you're ready for the part? Any good project goes through a number of steps that if done correctly the viewer will never know about which benefits the project because the viewer gets to focus on the content rather than, "I don't get why she was red. Was she supposed to be? Whatever, next."

SOUND CORRECTION:
Much the same with sound correction as with color correction and that is we don't want the viewer of your acting reel being distracted by the little things when they should be focused on watching your acting. To remove clicks, pops, electrical hum, things like that are a click of button to us. To make one scene to the next play at the same audio level is a simple process that we believe is necessary. A good example is this, when you watch a tv show and it cuts to commercial how many times do have to turn down the volume on the commercial because it is a lot louder than the show you were just watching? You end up spending 5 or more seconds looking for the remote, 2 seconds turning down the volume, another 2 seconds putting down the remote and another 5 seconds readjusting yourself and regaining your focus, right? So, we look at it as, what's 15 seconds spent adjusting sound, from one scene to the next, out of the possible 2 minutes you maybe have to impress this casting director really worth to you?

DVD AUTHORING:
After the final product has been approved we drop the project to DVD, so when that casting director puts in your DVD, whether they are in the United States, China or watching it on a plane, your demo reel will start playing as soon as it enters the DVD player. Beyond that, if you want a menu so you can have your reel on one click of a button and perhaps a slideshow presentation of a couple photos on another click of the button all of this can be done.
